My data has stopped working ..

My phone says I have 4g yet I haven't had a data connection in 3 days.  I am using the phone where I have for 3 years.  I have unlimited data and from what I am reading in the news Verizon has slowed my service to a complete and useless stop.  Please advise. I have followed all troubleshooting steps.

They have not been going after unlimited accounts that are using a phone and using less than 100 GB per month. Even if you were targeted, you would get a letter saying you will be discontinued on August 31. The only ones getting shutoff are the ones that are using hotspots only instead of a phone, and in those cases you only see 1x and not LTE indicator.

Therefore I think this is a different issue for you unless you fit any of the criteria above. Did you try rebooting the phone?

I have rebooted..done safe mode and every other troubleshooting step...I think they have slowed my data because last night after midnight it worked perfectly. This morning it does not.  I am definitely being slowed down and I am irritated.  I have been loyal to Verizon  since day one and they have not reciprocated
