My Motorola Max says my SD card is not compatible. Worked fine until today. I tried to reformat the card and got an error message.
Sudden stoppage of a memory card can be a mystery, MBeadle. I’d like to know if you have any other smartphones around. If so, try the card in the other to see if that error comes up. Which Maxx is it that you use ( Maxx 2, Maxx 4G, Razr Maxx) ? What apps, if any, were recently installed?

the card may have died & needs to be replaced!!!
