How do I stop my voice sound from being broken up in conversation? Also how do I make my speaker louder?

A bout a week ago, when making a call, I noticed, when put on speaker mode, I could barely hear. The other sounds seem fine (alarm, call volume, media, etc.) What could be the problem?

Speculation, but your speaker for speakerphone mode is going out? With your phone being 3 years old and many smartphones not designed to run for more than a few years anyway...
