For the last 6+ months, I haven't been able to sync my Facebook contacts to my phone. I think I've tried just about everything, but they still don't show in my contacts list (Facebook isn't even listed as an account in my contacts). When I go into "Settings", "Accounts", "Facebook", under my phone number, it says "Sync turned off". When I click "Sync with your device", the green check mark is there, but it's still not syncing. I checked, unchecked, restarted with no luck. I removed the account and added it again, nope. Am I missing a setting somewhere? My Google and Cloud accounts are syncing just fine. Thanks in advance!
I have the same issue with 2 S5s. Not certain but mine may have starated with the upgrade to 6.0. Could have been earlier, as I don't remember the last time I checked it.
No you're not missing anything, Facebook stopped supporting contact sync for Android.
