When is Nougat coming to the V10?
For the amount of money we have to pay for these phones and service, we should be able to get accurate information on the status of updates.

The manufacturer of the device is the one responsible for deciding if the device will receive the update.

T-mobile v10 owners have Nougat already so wouldn't that in turn mean that it is Verizon that isn't releasing the update?

That just means that T-Mobile had their carrier specific update finished by LG sooner than any other update still in the development process. The other carrier updates are likely still being worked on.

LG has already released the nougat update.
VERIZON is the one responsible for doing their own customizations and releasing 7.0 on their devices.
at this point it's VERIZON who hasn't finished their work, not LG.

Verizon Wireless doesn't touch the code for the updates. You are still waiting for LG.

Hello. The source code for VS99030A (Adroid 7 Nougat for LG V10) is posted at the LG open source site since September. That means it should be released to us soon. Yes, we can compile the package ourselves, but then will not be able to install because Verizon locks their boot loader.

Received November system update VS9902AA on 11/21/2017.
The updates were coming every 2 months, so when nothing happened in October, and I saw that vs99030a was at he LG site, I was hopeful. But no Nougat yet. Disappointed
For me, the new outrageous phone prices are prohibitive. Even with the payment plans and employer discount, my bill goes way up. Hey VZW, [Removed]?
So if I can upgrade my very nice LG V10 to Android 7, I can get at least another year of use from it.
Looking forward to 5G.

You certainly won't get any new network enhancements like 5G on the LG V10. Android 7 won't extend the life of your device. Taking care of it will. I used to have the V10 and I switched back to iPhone simply because the update wasn't coming. I will never buy an LG smartphone again.
If I had to guess, I'd say that it is unlikely to get Nougat or any other OS updates. The phone is officially 2 years old and LG stops supporting them when they reach 2 yrs.
Suggestion, if you want devices that will get updates when they are available, you will need to have a Pixel or an iPhone.
