Lastweek, message+ stopped. I uninstalled and installed, tried resetting to the original settings. It was fine.
This time, message+ stopped and I can't uninstall. It says, "Unfortunately the process com.android.settings has stopped."

Message+ is a great way to stay connected & we want to help ensure you're able to enjoy it. What type of device are you using? Is the Message+ application up to date?

The upgrades had to be deleted to open the app. I need to uninstall the whole app, but I can't, because every function on the phone crashes and gives the "stopped working" messages.
I can't send a bug report. Is there anything that can be done besides a complete reset of the whole phone?

Thank you. Have you attempted to uninstall the application from the Google Play Store, instead of the settings menu?

I can't uninstall from Google Play either. The only apps that can be uninstalled right now are the few that I put on the phone.

Thank you for the insights. Did you try to leave the messaging app as your default texting app?

Thank you for checking that for me. Let's try force stopping the app, and then trying to uninstall it. If your are not sure how to do this on your device, please see the following link: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-203871/.

I've tried force stopping and disabling and restarting pretty much everything since this began. Apps that I haven't removed, have disappeared. They are not listed hidden. Even the icons keep moving around.

KillMe,
It sounds as if there may be something corrupt on your phone. We will need to reset it back to Factory Settings. Do you have the phone backed up?

Does it crash when you try to delete a message?
