i get only half the text messages that are sent to me

I receive only some of the texts that are sent to my phone. this started happening right as my phone was up for an update. I updated the phone but that didnt help. I went to the store and they gave me a new sim card but that did not fix the problem

thats due to what device sends it and server and ISNT ALWAYS YOUR DEVICE,ITS THE NETWORKS FAULT.

I would be concerned too if I were not receiving all of my text messages. Are they not coming from any one particular contact on your phone? Do they arrive later or out of order?

This happened after the marshmallow update, I'm also receiving a full voicemail box error when my voicemail is not full. How do I correct the these errors.

go into voicemail and reset it back up....just listen to what menus SAY, dont depend on voice to text reader,

The only results I get is to reset my password, I don't need to do that. I spoke to a verizon rep at costco and was told test issues were because if the update my phone did.

We know its important to make sure your text messaging is working LAUGOM1 . Are you using a 3rd party text messaging application? If so, try removing it temporarily We also recommend deleting old/long text threads that you no longer need on your phone. Also is during a group message or just individual messages sent.

I'm not using a 3rd party texting app; I've removed old texts and have very few currently listed; the missing, unreceived texts as individual texts. As I've already said all the issues I'm having happened after an update to my phone on June 4th.

Thanks so much for the update Laugom1. Let’s keep working toward a resolution. What’s the make/model of your phone? Is this happening intermittently or consistently? Since this has been happening, have you powered your phone off ( taken SIM Card out ) for at least 1-2 minutes, put SIM Card back in and power the phone on again ?

I just powered the phone down and removed the SIM card; I'm also not receiveing all my phone calls, the calls aren't even showing up as missed. And I still haven't been able to figure out the voicemail issue either! Samsung Galaxy s5
