I suppose that the red triangle is not some sort of warning indication, but thanks for your concern and effort to reply for something that is so silly to you, this is a forum to ask questions to me this is a question i think anyone would want to know the answer to... keep your sarcastic remarks to yourself,

Ok first, Due to your double post, I figured you was bashing the HTC Incredible by making fun of it. Now that I read more into it you was informing the type of phone you had. I thought you was simply having issues with your Incredible and was making fun at it. I will defend my Incredible. As far as the red triangle, have not seen it yet.

Another ten year old thread dug up from the depths. Why?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Pull down the top of the screen where the warning is and it will tell you. If you have Weather Bug installed it is most likely a weather warning.

I think the triangle can mean that you are roaming, too.
There's a manual somewhere online that will help you answer these and other questions that you may have. There's certainly nothing wrong with posting questions here, that's what the place is for. And Verizon apparently think that it's important as well. It's not cheap to maintain a forum such as this.
However, based on my own personal experience many years ago, you can learn a LOT about your phone and its features if you take some time with the manuals and user guides.
Geri O (edit - ooh, now allow me to get to my profile and change that phone type to the Moto Droid that I'm now enjoying!)

It is not roaming. (Though I have seen a triangle on my phone and I do not use Weatherbug) Roaming is an R above the signal strength bars.

the manual actually doesn't tell you much. i downloaded it to my phone for reference and have found it handy a couple times. but it is 208 pages of the most basic stuff. these phones today do so much...in order to put out a manual that told us everything, it would have to be 2000 pages...lol. however....it does show a list of symbols, and if it's a triangle with an exclamation point in it, then it is just a "general notification" and can be cleared by dragging down the status bar. i do recommend downloading it to the phone though, as it has been handy a few times.
