If you are in a Variable Coverage Area (VCA) then the 4G icon may flash to indicate the connection is poor. I would try toggling the data switch. I would also try Resetting Network Settings. If you comment back with the model of the device I can give you more specific instructions.

The model is HTC6515L
I'm grateful for your assistance. The constant flashing seems to be draining the battery quickly and heating the phone more than usual.

The SIM card might be bad in the HTC One Remix. You can get it replaced at a corporate store.

Ensuring you have a reliable connection to 4G is a must, TALLKIDS. Let's get this figured out. When did this start happening? Any other Verizon users with the same issue? What zip code?

I had the same problem with 4g light flashing on galaxy S7. Tried all setting changes posted. I found the remedy by going into setting; Apps; app permissions; then setting app permissions to default for all apps! Never has flashed every 6 seconds since. Hope this helps!
