A 2013 Global Phone for Europe

Currently, I'm looking into global phones on Verizon with the intent to move to Europe in a year (possibly two). As such, I need a phone that works seamlessly on Verizon's CDMA network, and one that also works on European GSM with voice, text, and data. I've looking into Samsung Galaxies, and I don't know if I trust them to have a changeable APN, but if a recent update has changed that, it'd be good to know.

I had just been abroad with a Droid Razr Maxx HD, and it worked beautifully with the local SIM, though due to a dispute with Motorola, I'm in a personal boycott of their company (a topic for another thread). Much to my dismay, most of the phones with both CDMA and GSM frequencies seem to be Motorola, so I might be able to overlook the terrible customer service I experienced - they do make excellent hardware in spite of themselves.

Thanks in advance!

If you are moving to Europe, fooling around with Verizon phones makes no sense, unless you are employed by someone who has a Verizon business contract. If it's personal use, I'd get an international unlocked GSM phone. Verizon locks GSM out of use on US Carriers anyway.
