Another KitKat disaster, now for Samsung Galaxy S4
ghoststory
Enthusiast - Level 3

My son was forced to "downgrade" to KitKat yesterday on his Samsung Galaxy S4. Boy, is he disappointed. He, too, has dropped reception and message "pending" limbo!

Come on Verizon, you need to address this as a SOFTWARE issue and not a hardware issue!

Oh, and yesterday, my Note 3 popped up a new message: SIM CARD NOT DETECTED. This was as the phone rested (without being touched) right next to me.

Awesome…just awesome.

Way to go, Verizon -- way to go!

I sent another email to John Bianchi, VP of National Customer Service. I complained about the poor network and the lack of software solution.

I received a call that I never saw coming and it went straight to voicemail (because I had no reception!)

I will call that person back and go through the hoops, yet again, but this time I'll just be very direct and say it's SOFTWARE ISSUE.

I encourage you all to contact Mr. Bianchi: John Bianchi
