Battery doesn't last more than 5 or 6 hours. Changed batteries with approximately same result. Changed phones from S6 to S8 was wondering if new features were a drain. If true how can I shut off things she doesn't use? Any other thoughts?

Hello, fradel. Thank you for reaching out to us today. Making sure your battery lasts is important and we are here to look into a few options. You can run a device health check using My Verizon to see if there is anything negatively affaecting your battery and you can also use the battery management in Settings to see what is using the highest amount. Here are some links for those steps.
