Brigadier Font Changed

Noticed after lollipop update that some of default fonts changed in messages and other areas. It's a bubble font, white with black border and is obnoxious and difficult to read.

I cannot find any way to change the font either through settings (only allows for font size change) or through the apps themselves. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks
