After the latest update on June 15 of 2018 our Samsung droid has deleted some calendar entries.
(We’re also not fond of the new icons, but there’s nothing that can be done about that.)
Howdo we sync our calendar back up and regain the lost appointments on this latest android update?

Sorry, that’s supposed to be calendar entries, voice to text doesn’t work so great all the time either. And I haven’t had my first cuppa coffee so I missed 🙂

This update should make your phone only better. Tell us more about this issue. Are these calendar entries backed up by an email? Have you tried opening the calendar directly in the email to see if these events are still there?

All I know is they were on the calendar before the update, and now they are gone.
We tried selecting every calendar available in settings, but none show he ones that were entered manually, like doctors appointments and other upcoming important events.

We added events to the calendar on a Droid (Samsung 7)
There was an update last week.
Calendar events vanished.
We are upset that they vanished, and need some constructive suggestions as to getting them back.
Isn’t there documentation as to how to get missing calendar items back?

depends which calendar, phone, google or something else as to how you can recover what's missing!!.
THATS WHY I USE iPHONE!
Only wish I can get my wife to give up that buggy, Droid thing! UGGH!
She added an event to her “Calendar” on her Samsung.
GOD KNOW WHICH ONE IT WENT TO.
NIKRIB, we understand how important it is to get those calendar entries back. Very few of us can remember appointments without a calendar. It does concern us that you're having trouble opening the link to the Google Calendar. What browser are you using to open the link? Which type of device are you using to open it?

NIKRIB, I appreciate you looking over the suggested areas, and for helping your wife with this issue. Has your wife attempted to login to her Gmail account through a computer to see if the originally entered calendar events synced online? If the original link didn't work for you, have your wife go to mail.google.com, sign in > Click on the square menu icon (comprised of 9 smaller squares > choose Calendar.

after a big update you need to literally check every setting, doesn't hurt to check with the monthly updates as well!
one of the monthly updates changed my ringtone!!
