Motorola maxx when I touch camera icon I get a notice that says camera error please restart camera

did you install any new app or update any app ?....

No just wouldn't work today. I tried installing a different camera app and selfie camera works on that but main camera just closes app

My droid is doing the same thing.  Just started three days ago.  I don't download apps.  I try my hardest to keep my phone as basic as possible.  I did power off/on, it worked for less than one hour.  Now power off/on does not resolve at all.  ALSO, when it did work, it only would do selfie.

I got another phone.  Did recovery, reboot, factory reset and nothing worked.

There is no solution from everything I have read.  I remember when life was simple.  These "all-in-one" appendages are not worth the frustrations.
