I am using Google chrome, I assume, the default Browser for my Samsung Stratosphere. Some websites I visit are coming up with a notice to update my Browser. I am satisfied using Google however, I would like to update it as well. I know how on my computer but not on my phone ...

You should have Play Store installed, if you run that and either search for Chrome or select My Apps from the menu and scroll through the list looking for Chrome.  Either way if it is installed it will give you a couple buttons depending on whether an update is available or not.  For up to date Apps it will say Uninstall and Open for out of date apps Open will be Update.  If you have Update button simply select it and Accept permissions if you agree and it will update.  If you have a number of apps out of date you can also select the Update All button at the top of the list. If you can't find Play installed try opening in a browser http://play.google.com and then you can either search for Chrome or install Play

I kinda learned, Chrome is not the Browser, Google is just set as my home page when I tap "Browser" in my apps. It is simply called "Browser" and has a blue and white/silver globe for its icon. The only App I found in the Play Store was called "Chrome to Phone". Also, in reply to dilbertaz, I do regularly update Play Store Apps anytime I get an Update notification so, everything is kept up to date as far as that goes ....

Updates for that browser are probably much less common and may come through OS upgrades or possibly from Samsung if you are signed in with an account to Samsung.

You should be able to install Google Chrome if you like, try this link and see if it will let you install.
