Can't reply to businesses text with "Y" or "Yes"

Message fails when I need to confirm an appointment with a "Y" or agree to sign up for texts, etc.

What make/model device are you trying to respond on?  What Messaging app are you using?

...Just another VZW customer...trying to offer some assistance...

This is a strange instance Tinylynnm87. I wanted to ask if all other text messages on your device are going through ok? 

 

I ask this as this may be a specific issue related to this specific business receipt of the message?

I have the same issue and I cannot answer yes or no ever.  All other texts go through.  Frustrating when my bank asks me if it is really me using my credit card.  It used to not be a problem so I assume it occurred with an update.
