Cell Standby issue

I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge on Verizon and I've become very aware of an issue with not only the Galaxy S6 and Edge, but android users all over. I've already read a majority of the "solutions" for the issue. I've wiped the cache partition and have even factory reset the phone. Anybody out there have an idea on how to fix this and do something I haven't. Also I've seemed to ascertain this is a wi-fi issue, not necessarily anything else.

Muffinman1119,

We never want you to have issues with your phone. It's important that everything works the way it should. What sort of cell standby issues are you having? Is it different if you're on wi-fi or on mobile data?

It definitely seems to be more of an issue while on WiFi than on LTE. The battery life is just oozing out seemingly because of this. It's the number 1 user of battery power according to Samsung's battery data on the phone.
