There seems to be a lot of conflicting opinions about Nomorobo i.e. https://forums.verizon.com/t5/home-phone/do-not-use-nomorobo/m-p/856649 but that thread is 4 years old.
How is it evaluated today?

Had it on my Moms home phone several years ago and it worked really good. She was getting a lot of junk calls and they stopped. Phone I think would ring only once and catch the call. My husbands father has some kind of box on his home phone that he can block area codes or some such and it catches the junk calls so they don't ring through.
Can anybody just tell me if they would recommend Nomorobo?
