I'm about ready for a new phone. I've been with Verizon for years, but I will leave for Sprint because of Verizon's knack to lock the bootloaders of their phones. Once you go root, you never go back. Wake up, Verizon, there are hundreds of thousands of people out there who won't buy a device that you can't root off the bat. You're losing customers as more people upgrade to phones comparable to your flagships, phones that can be unlocked and rooted easily.

Did you know you can purchase fully unlocked phones from the manufacturer that are compatible with the Verizon Wireless network and you can do whatever you want to the software?
That's all I'm going to say on the subject since discussing modifying the OS software isn't allowed on this community forum because of the Terms of Service here.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
