Just a comment/experience to share; We got my wife her first smart phone a little over a year ago due to the phone she had for texting had given up. She does not use social media, the internet, music, video, e-mail or messaging, and gaming. She does not even have a weather app. She only uses the phone to talk & text. Last month we went way over on data usage and she had no success getting any help in correcting the situation (from Verizon or our two phone stores). Anyway, she stumbled upon how to turn off the shared data usage in her phone. Three days have gone by and there has been zero data usage on our account. Problem solved, rather severe abut effective. Although, it is quite a waste of money to have bought this fancy phone. Just wanted to share with the community.
