Trying to set up and download photos from my Galaxy S6 phone. I have it connected to a PC running Win10, via a USB cable. I have nearby devices and content share turned on, on the phone. I can see the device in the PC's list of connected devices. BUT, there are no visible files. When I select import images, the PC says there are no files. I know there are over 1,200 photos on the phone.
Help. Any suggestions? Is there some security setting(s) on the phone or PC I should configure?

No. That isn't the area I was referring to.
Swipe down the notification bar at the top of the phone. The screen now displayed is the notification shade. Tap on the USB connection and change it from charging only to File Transfer.

Did you pull down the notification shade and change the USB connection type from charging only to File Transfer?

Thanks. Under Settings, Notifications, there are many many applications listed, but not sure if this is where your speaking of.

Well, there are 17 items listed. Wi-F, Location, Sound... etc. But no icon that says USB...

Oh thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. That worked. Got all my photos transferred.
Do I need to change that setting back to charging?

It isn't required to change it back. You can just unplug the phone when you are done. When you plug in the phone again to a computer it will default to charging only for the Connection Type.
