Help!! I just got the Droid last week and when I use it out doors or in highly lighted areas while making or recieving calls my screen blacks out and the only way to light it back up is slide the screen to opening the keyboard. Called Customer service and tried all their fixes but it did not work
No solutions for you, but experienced the same issues. Very annoying -- it also starts to malfunction in the sun. It lost all my contacts and call logs. I would expect it to function to some level outside.
