One of my synced email accounts is now adding the .txt file extension to every email attachment. I can't open the attachments anymore. How do I stop this from happening?

TORTRE30,
Being able to open your communication is important. What patterns have you noticed with the messages you are receiving that cannot be opened? For example, are they from a certain contact? What happens when you attempt to access your email from a computer? Can the messages be opened there?

It is happening to all email attachments. On a computer I can open the
attachments just fine. Examples are files with extestions .png or .mp4, get
changed to .png.txt or .mp4.txt. When I try to open it says it's fetching
the attachment but it never opens.

I appreciate that clarification, TORTRE30. Have you ever been able to receive MP4 or PNG files via this email on your phone, or is this something that just recently started happening?

Yes, it would open any attachments in the past.
