If I download and install the file which allows me to sync with my outlook contacts, calandar, can I also sync pop3 email?

 

Do i still need to keep the gmail account, or can all be synced through this program?

There is no app needed to sync the Eris with your outlook contacts and calendar via USB cable, or wirelessly through MS exchange server for that matter. And any pop3 e-mail can be retrieved on it as well if you have the server settings. No apps needed.
