Ever Since I did the software update, my phone has been unable to connect to wifi. What is the fix to this, I'm being overcharged.

Ever Since I did the software update, my phone has been unable to connect to wifi.  What is the fix to this, I'm being overcharged.  I go to settings and it cannot find any wifi in the are, then a list will pop up and then disappear.

What phone is it? What update? Have you tried to do a factory reset?
