Exchange email broken after 6.0 update

So far everything seems to be working fine, EXCEPT my work exchange account! My Inbox will not sync at all, however subfolders will sync properly. I can also send emails without any issues, so the problem seems to be solely fixated on my Inbox... I have tried removing and adding the account again and resetting factory defaults, no luck! I really don't want to go back to Lollipop as the update "appears" to have fixed the issue with the Wifi dropping connection multiple times per hour, while on the 5ghz network

VZW, please help!!! I cannot go any longer without my work email...
