So yesterday my M9 downloaded some update(I think) of some sort, then rebooted, then started downloading the same thing over again, then repeated the process for over an hour. Later on the screen went haywire, so I restarted it. Since then my phone no longer finds any Wi-Fi signal, just says turning Wi-Fi on and never connects.

Greetings epaton87. The One M9 is a great device. It's regrettable that your device is having difficulty working with its WiFi capability now. I'd like to join you in resolving this matter. Before I posted here, I did some research into any prior reports of issues rollowing the operating system update that was issued for your device model. So far, nothing was found.
If I understand correctly, the WiFi capability (the actual application) will not launch. If that's the case, please place the device in Safe Mode (instructions here: http://vz.to/1iwFuoe ) and then try to launch the application again. If the app launches, try then to locate and connect to WiFi. Once you're done (whether you're able to connect or not), please take the device out of Safe Mode and advise me how it went. Thanks.

Updates are supposed to enhance your phone, epaton87. I'm sorry this hasn't happened with yours. Let's get your phone working properly.
I know you mentioned this started with somekind of update, but can you also confirm the phone hasn't been dropped or wet at all? For starters, please clear device memory. When completed, power phone off and remove SIM for 1 minute, then reinsert and restart phone. If you're still experiencing these issues, try placing phone in Safe Mode for 6-12 hours. This will disable any third party apps, but you will still be able to use basic functions as normal. It could be that the new software, (update), is no longer compatible with certain apps, which is very common, and making your phone to not work properly. In many cases, app developers do update the apps regularly, but until then, phone may experience these issues. Please keep us posted.
