Hope Eris will get a dock like Nexus One

Did you see the dock that Google released for the N1? It looks great! http://bit.ly/590hsv Because of version 1.5 on the Eris, I dont think anyone will rush to make a nice dock like this for the Eris until 2.0 or later is released. Why? ...because right now it will just be a nice charger for the Eris, without 2.0 or later there is no features that the N1 or Moto Droid have to offer like the alarm clock app plus others. Once again another great reason to keep those fingers crossed until the Eris gets an update to 2+

It would be cool, as it's a sweet looking dock. Unfortunately, they're unlikely to come out with one for the Eris, since the Eris lacks the contacts on the bottom that the N1 has just for that purpose.

Yes but I would think they could just give it a standard usb 2.0 or mini connector in the bottom of the dock.

Like the Droid dock that uses a Magnet.  They all have that same magnet thing it would just be a matter of building it in.
