Hotspot continually disconnects/reconnects. Sometimes is is after a few minutes, sometimes it is longer. Happens as many as 8-10 times in a 30 minutes period. It started after the latest update to my phone. Very annoying, especially if I am in the middle of something, press enter and find that all info entered is lost due to the disconnect. Any cause or fix out there?

I can understand how important it is to have a reliable connection. I depend on my hotspot too. Let's get this fixed for you right away. Any recent liquid or physical damage to your LG G3? Are other Verizon Wireless users experiencing the same issues in your area?

No, no liquids, no physical damage, not dropped, etc.. Seems to have started shortly after the last upgrade in April. I don't know any other people that use the Verizon Hotspot. My husband sits 8' from me with his MiFi and is not experiencing any disconnects.

Lin,
Thank you for the details, this really helps us take our troubleshooting to the next level. Let's remove your SIM card to re-established the connection to your G3 http://vz.to/2f58HHW Please keep your phone off when the SIM card is out. After the card has been out for a few minutes, please place the card back in and power on your G3. Let's test the connection after this has been done.

I did not check in for a few days so did not get your reply until just now. What do you think happened here? For four days the hotspot continually disconnected/reconnected but for the last two day there was not one disconnect. I did nothing different so no change on my part. I am really curious as to what happened because it was obviously on Verizon or Lg's part. I will bookmark your reply message juand_vzw, and if the problem recurs I will try your suggested fix before contacting Verizon again. Thank you.
