Hotspot SSID = "X", Windows Connection Name = "Y"?

When I connect my laptop to my Android hotspot, the connection name is usually the same at the hotspot SSID. Sometimes, although the SSID shows correctly in the list of available connections, and it says "connected", Windows states I am "Currently connected to: Network #" instead of "SSID #". Is this an issue I need to be concerned about or a freak Windows/Android/Verizon feature?

Can you provide a screenshot or two of where the discrepancy is being seen?

This is from this morning.
This is where I would usually see something like "The Penumbral Infinity 37". I'm pretty sure the number just reflects how many old connection files I have hanging around.
