How do I assign different ringtones to individual contacts?

Yesterday I got the LG 4.  I am trying to assign different ringtones to certain contacts.  I know how to do it the problem is the area in the contact file where it said "ringtone Id" is grayed out.  Yes I am in Edit mode in the contact and yes under settings i did ringtone ID as Contact.  Please help.

Are ya scrolling the Contact fully or Look up to your left or right  side for the settings 3 square boxes see if it list the option you might check there. I found it and it shows Media Storage which should be your Ringtones

To add:  If you use Zedge wallpapers and ringtones it will list it in this area as well

Turn off ring ID

Tidbits thank you it worked.  Who would have thought that Off was on and On was off in this case .

Yah I noticed I could in mine and when I saw your screenshots I checked my settings. Turned it on and I had the same thing as you did.
