I have run out of space. I can not find were the trash can is or how to remove deleted items.

Having enough storage on your device is a must Laura1103. Let's find out what is taking up all your storage space. You can review your storage under Apps > Settings > Storage. Let us know the categories that are taking up the most space.

There is a "trash can" in the Google Photos application. I would check there to see if there are items in it.
