How can I access the internet from my chrome book through my LG G7 phone?
Turn on the hotspot feature on your phone. Using the SSID name being broadcast and the password information under the hotspot settings, you can connect the Chromebook to the phone's Wi-Fi hotspot.

It’s so critical to know how to use all the different features on your phone like the mobile hotspot. As Ann154 stated, you would enable the hotspot and then connect to it using the Chromebook WiFi settings. Here are the steps on how to enable the hotspot on your phone:

Once this is enabled on your phone, you would use your Chromebook WiFi settings to connect to the mobile hotspot as a WiFi network.
