How do I resize the video and pictures in my Motorola Driod Ultra

I can't send pictures via text, let alone video and if I email it, I can only send one picture at a time.  The picture size is 3 MB, crazy.  This is my second Motorola Andriod Ultra and the first one had camera settings that I could adjust, I can't find them on this phone.  I called Verizon tech support and they don't know how to do it.  Does anyone know the answer to this problem?  It's also causing (I think it is) my data usage to be used up very quickly...or the pinwheel photo app is doing it, I don't know, but I'm very frustrated with this expensive toy. check your setting IN the messaging app and see if there's a place to tell it to automatically resize images when sending via text. the video is trickier. some phones allow you to open the messaging app and select the recipient and THEN start recording, and it will automatically record in a small enough size to send via text. however, it has to be done from the messaging app in real time. if you want to resize a video you've already recorded, to send via text (mms), then check out an app called "video converter android." it's a bit complex, but lets you take a video and lower the resolution and length so that it can be texted to someone. be aware though, when you do this, the resulting video is pretty poor quality (think 5 years ago when regording on a flip phone).

I checked my message settings and no, it will not automatically resized before sending. no such option. great idea though! I know my other ultra had the option of changing the resolution before taking pictures and videos I don't understand why all of these phones are not created equal. And 16 GB is such a show stopper. I don't like my phone anymore I would not recommend that anyone buy this phone. thanks for trying.

I'm sorry you don't have a setting to resize your pictures and videos roundabout. You have an awesome phone and I want you to love your device. have you tried downloading an application from the Google play store. Here is a link to the google play store and an app that may work for you http://bit.ly/1oaUdp7 . This app is simply a suggestion but you can search for other apps. Let me know if this helps.
