If my 32 GB is filled, what can I do to get and save my photos from my phone?

You might be able to turn ON Developer Options and set Select USB Configuration from Charging to MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) and then connect your PC to the phone via USB cable.

I have to clarify, add to my response. I have a Droid Turbo 2 and have activated the Developer Options via a 'back door' method. Depending on what model phone you have, if the default USB Configuration is NOT set to MTP but set to Charging (only), then making that change will be certainly different. Also, I've found that not all my micro-USB to USB cables will work for MTP connection to my PC. There may be apps for different phones for this data transfer or to turn on the MTP option.
