My Motorola Droid says data usage is above 2.8G but My Verizon says only 45% data usage with 15 days to go..
Which is valid and how do I track the usage with more accuracy with the Motorola data usage app?

You should verify the data usage counter has the billing cycle setup to match your account's billing cycle dates.
