Ever since last year when my V60 got updated to use 5G, my phone has experienced severe connection issues, slow data speeds, and a faster draining battery.
I have looked all over the internet and other LG forums and it appears to be a common problem.
We need a way to disable 5G until Verizon gets that spectrum working right. Please tell us how to disable 5G access for our LG V60 phones.

frett, we understand the importance of making sure you have the services you need. Allow us the opportunity to investigate. Can you please clarify what happens when you use your services? Does your device have the latest Software Update? Also, are you still utilizing the original charger that came with your device?

I'll take this one... Zero internet connection, no sms, can only make phone calls full bars of 5g, go 5 minutes down the road in a major metropolitan area with only 2 bars of 5g, no issues. Your bottleneck and throttling back of people who actually move around the county frequently terrible. If I'm trying to work in south Tampa during the superbowl and rely on my 'cell service' to work in order to Work & my service can't even connect to a simple Google search or any other web based app, why good is 5g??? Fix your garbage Verizon!

oh it is the same issue.... If you're too dumb not to know how to go into network settings and switch networks, how is that not the same as network failure which is what the real issue is here. I turned off 5g a LONG time ago, just to have to reactivate it, so YES, my issue is associated with this thread effin Troll

Then why did you NOT answer the OP's simple question as to 'How do we disable 5G on an LG V60'?
