This is my first smart phone (Droid Razr Maxx HD) and I don't usually mind the spelling changes but sometimes it isn't the correct word (especially when it's a persons' name).......how do I override the change and keep it spelled the way I intend?

On my droid I simply just back space over the suggested word until its spelled the way I want. you then click the word in the auto correct suggestion bar and select save to dictionary. It will be stated something like that. After the word is added the situation will not occur on that word.
