I deleted some pictures and text messages to regain some internal storage. How long before I see a gain in internal storage?
When trying to free up internal storage, deleting pictures and texts is a great start, RLD8980. It is difficult to say at exactly what point you will have “freed up” enough space. We always recommend powering off the device for a few minutes after deleting information. We would like to offer other suggestions for freeing up internal storage. What is the make and model of your device? What specifically is alerting you about the need to increase your internal storage?
Deleting is instant. Texts take up hardly anything and wouldn't make much of an impact.
