Yesterday the wifi connection on the LG G4 dropped, the wifi icon was flashing, and the phone started dragging and hung. After hard reset, it appeared okay. The same issue arose again today, but the hard reset did not correct. The wifi icon flashes but never connects. Restarting the WiFi app doesn't correct the issue either.

I've tried the soft and hard resets, clearing application and general cache, and a couple of other suggestions mentioned on the internet, but still no success. This appears to be a relatively common/known issue with LG G4's on Verizon and other carriers.

I'm getting the same issue. Sounds like it's well known. What's Verizon/Lg going to do?

They might say, "wait till the 6.0 update comes" to see if any issues are resolved.

Curious if the Android Marshmallow fixed this issue. My friend has the G4 and he had to get it swapped out. He tried safe mode, factory reset and the software repair assistant and still had the problem. The new unit works great. He even restored from backup from the memory card. After the Android Marshmallow update are you still seeing the same issue?
