Need help with LG G5 GPS issue. Please.....keeps trying to find location.

I am also having the same issue and this has been resolved for other Verizon customers. What do we need to do to receive a fix??

My LG G5 GPS has stopped working most of the time.

First, make sure your phone date/time is set to

           Auto-date&time enabled,

           Auto-time zone enabled

Set your Location Mode to

           High accuracy (GPS and networks)

Download the application GPS Status

           Got to Manage A-GPS state

           Perform a Reset to clear cached data

           Perform a Download of the A-GPS XTRA Data  (gets assistance data)

Make sure you have unobstructed view of the sky and attempt to get a lock (4 Sats min).

Subsequent to this, the locks should be faster for you.

Hi,

I've done this fix multiple times. The problem still continues. The phone will lock after 2-3 minutes of attempting and then is constantly dropping location thereafter.

What do I do next?

Please help us on what we need to do to fix this GPS issue we are having on our LG G5 phones. I have 3 phones and really noticed the issue 6 months ago. I read in a previous post there are some devices that were manufactured in June 2016 and prior have a GPS gasket attachment defect. Can you please advise on how we can get this repaired?
