I've had an LG G8 for a year now with no real issues. In the past few months, possibly starting after a software update in March or so, the phone will randomly blurt in a female voice "Verizon...". No "wireless". Just "Verizon", inflected like it's the beginning or middle of a thought. Sometimes that will be followed within a few seconds to a few minutes by another brief one to four words that I haven't been able to hear clearly or figure out. Other ideas I've seen here (ERI, service acquired, various others that include "Verizon Wireless") don't apply or don't appear in my phone's settings.
Ideas...?

That is rather strange. Have you added any applications from Verizon to your device?
