LG K8 V update

Why does the system update for the LG K8 V look like spam/malware? The description isn't legible. It also didn't show up on my phone for several months(it's dated January 2018). It appeared after connecting to a hotspot.

Updates are meant to enhance. To protect both your device and the servers which update your phone, updates are sent in waves. This way only a certain amount of devices can access the update at a time, then the next wave of updates is pushed out by Google/Manufacturer.
