I purchased a new LG Velvet a few days ago. I got home from the store and was able to connect to the WiFi for a few minutes then the phone stated that it was connected but unable to connect to the internet. I rebooted the router with no luck. When I went into work and tried to connect to the WiFi and got a signal for a minute then it said that I was no longer connected to the internet even though I was still receiving a strong WiFi signal. I have other devices that have no problems connecting to the same WiFi. My old phone still connects just fine. I did a network settings reset, settings reset, and a factory wipe....and still its not working. I then went back to the store got a new phone that worked for a few minutes, then off to the same problems as the last one. I have no idea what's going on. Any ideas?

Hi, Hotshotems. I appreciate the details you've shared and I would be happy to help. Have you made any recent changes to your Wi-Fi? Have you ensured that your router has the latest firmware updates? Are you receiving any error messages on the LG Velvet?

I called Jacob Coleman, the salesperson who was taking care of me at Cellular Sales in Rio Rancho and he helped me more than anyone else could. We found out that it was my VPN that was blocking the WiFi. I deleted that app an now everything is working as it should. So props to him and his customer service!!.
