Last in newness

First, please do not get me wrong. I've been with Verizon for several years and have always been treated kindly. Never, ever, had a problem with customer service. However, I am beginning to become unhappy. Why is Verizon the last in everything? Other carriers already have the Samsung Galaxy S4. Other carriers receive upgrades earlier than Verizon. Plus the fact that other carriers do not strip the new phones as Verizon does, for example, the multiple window usage in the Samsung Galaxy Note II. This is beginning to rattle me. I don't care about the discounts because I shall be paying full price so that I can keep my infinite data. Why, Verizon, are you last in everything?

It's not an issue for me.  I prefer to keep my existing phone as long as it meets my needs.  When I do upgrade, I buy the best phone for my needs available at the time.  I would rather not be an "early adapter" and deal with those type issues.  I prefer my phone to work perfectly with no bugs.

In fact I'm glad Verizon is usually last.  I do not upgrade once I'm eligible, especially if new phones are on the brink of being released.  I plan on upgrading to the HTC ONE if Verizion offers it but only on those units that have the latest Android version intalled.  More often than not new phones are released with older revisions, with an update soon to be released after.  There are always to many problems with updates so I wait until the latest is installed with the latest phone that I buy.
