I was shocked to discover that Verizon does not include visual voicemail in prepaid plans. I thought it was a universal feature of having a smartphone at this point. I feel like I'm being nickle and dimed by a half-rate airline.
Pile on the let VZ know this is a key feature to include.
Thanks, all.

Either go postpaid or download one of the dozen visual voicemail apps.

Verizon prepaid service is a great service for a very good price. So it will be pretty foolish for Verizon to let all of the same services go to the prepaid customers. If they did they would be no reason for people to switch to postpaid. Most carriers do limit the services that are offered to the prepaid side.
Want more, pay more.

Recently got some information about this when I contacted Verizon support. Apparently they've been working to deliver visual voicemail to prepaid non-iPhone devices by the end of 2020. With COVID it could take longer, but I couldn't find any information online saying anything about this. Thought I would share.

I wouldn't hold my breath. AT&T and Verizon do lots of lip service to get us off the phone happy.
