Yes it does. Other apps can be downloaded/updated fine.
I have tried removing my account and re-adding it.
The usual Play Store fixes do not seem to fix this.

The Play Store versions are a higher listed version that what is loaded on the phone.
For example, my installed Mail app shows 9.50.677090
The Play Store version showing the update shows that version as 9.50.708614
So the version on the Play Store is a newer version that what was just installed.

Exact same issue here after Marshmallow Update on the One M8.
All apps update without issue but the ones listed fail. All other apps update fine. Installing new apps from HTC is fine too. It is the pre-installed HTC apps that cannot properly update.

I have this too! Have tried everything to remedy with no success. Also I don't like that ring and notifications volume is combined now....this doesn't make sense to me....

jkuz - I don't think the ring and notification volumes are combined. Just click the downward arrow in the upper left box (after you push volume up/down) and you will see them listed individually.

I have the same issue after Marshmallow update on a Verizon HTC M8. Every other app updated fine but all the HTC apps fail with an error that says:
"CAN'T UPDATE APP
Update for "HTC CALENDAR" could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error retrieving information from server.

I'm experiencing the same Google Play update issues.
