My Motorola Droid Maxx, won't receive messages from IPhone 6 but the iPhone receives my texts even when the iMessage is disabled. How can I fix this?

I would be concerned too if my phone werenโt receiving text messages. Did you have an iPhone active on your line prior to getting your Motorola? Are you only having issues receiving messages from this specific iPhone 6?
