My Kyocera Duraforce Pro crackles terribly when using bluetooth/line-out audio after 5.320VZ update. How do I fix this problem?
RangerDangerDad

I use multiple bluetooth speakers and a Plantronics headset with my Kyocera Duramax Pro. Ever since the latest update, audio crackles terribly when played through a bluetooth device or a device plugged into the headset jack. My bluetooth devices work fine when playing media from my tablet. I've tried using the equalizer in google play music with minimal improvement. I can only assume this is the result of the update. Has anyone else noticed this? Will this be addressed in the next update?

Crackling audio makes it difficult to remain hands free, RangerDangerDad. With so many areas having laws against holding your phone while driving, this issue is crucial to fix. As we haven't received any reports of this issue, and you've indicated that it started with the latest software update, it's possible that the software didn't load correctly on the device. We typically recommend a factory reset to get the software on there correctly, once you've backed up all your data. Here's a link with steps: http://spr.ly/65858hRaL
